With today's increasingly fragmented newspaper and electronic marketplace, advertising requires expensive multi-media mixing
or creative target marketing, to reach consumers. Traditional means of reaching consumers
utilizing electronic media is not cost effective
in most rural areas. When you purchase television or radio from
the closest major DMA, you are paying the high cost of reaching the
population for the larger market, with hopes you may reach the outlying
rural communities. Newspaper has been the sole means of reaching
rural communities for many years, however, newspaper alone does not
adequately cover the entire potential consumer base. Additionally,
there are currently no co-op direct mail companies which cover the rural areas of
Georgia serviced by Public Service Telephone, and the high cost of
solo-piece direct mail can also be cost prohibitive.
Public Service Telephone Company (PSTC) has also experienced this difficulty marketing
in its rural markets, forcing a need for creative target marketing. That's why PSTC now offers affordable bill
insert advertisements in its billing statements each month. This
partnership with PSTC will allow you to reach a captive audience with
your message or feature offer, by mailing directly to established
consumers living in our rural markets. Mailing to established
consumers takes the guess work out when trying to reach consumers with
buying power.
Due to the nature of inserting advertisements within
the Public Service Telephone bill, partnerships are exclusive and very
limited, with only two partnerships each month. This allows our
advertising partners message to get the attention desired.
