Striving to make telecommunications services available for all consumers, Public Service Telephone is pleased to offer
financial assistance to eligible individuals applying for the Lifeline program.
The Lifeline Assistance Program provides a credit for qualified residential customers on their local monthly phone bills.
To qualify for Lifeline, applicant must be participants in at least one of the following programs:
- Food Stamps
- Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Medicaid
- Senior citizens low income discount plan offered by the local gas or power company
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Lifeline assistance is available for one telephone line per residence, at the customer's principal place of residence.
