Leasing Information

Customer Provided Equipment

Equipment, apparatus, device or systems not furnished by the Telephone Company may be used with the Company's facilities provided such use complies with the Company's Tariffs. These Tariffs are designed in the interest of good telephone service and to prevent hazards to customers and company employees.

Automatic Answering Set

Certain telephones are equipped with an automatic device, known as an automatic answering set, which answers the phone mechanically when no person is available. It then makes a recorded announcement. If your call is answered by an automatic answering set, listen carefully for the announcement, which will be self-explanatory. Some sets will also record a message from the caller.

Deregulated Inside Wiring Maintenance Service

The Company offers an inside wiring service maintenance agreement under which the wiring and equipment from the house protector through the jack is maintained by the company with a monthly charge added to the customer's bill.

Company Provided Equipment

Rental charges for telephone instruments and equipment located in your home or business is no longer regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission. You may continue to rent telephone equipment as you are now doing, or purchase equipment from any source of your choice.

Telephone Leasing Policy

The company has a limited number of telephones available for leasing on a signed lease agreement basis. Eligibility is limited to availability of equipment and available only to customers with established credit.

Right of Inspection

Equipment, instrument, and lines on subscriber's premises, furnished by the Telephone Company shall be and remain property of the Telephone Company. If the Telephone Company should have the need to inspect, repair, install or remove equipment or wiring on the premises or make collection from coin boxes on premises, owner shall not deny Telephone Company's agents and employees access to premises at any reasonable hour.
