If you reach a wrong number

Ask the person who answers what city you have reached. Then dial "OPERATOR" and report it, so that the charge will be cancelled. There is no charge for these calls.

"BUSY" Signals and "NO ANSWERS"

If you get a "busy" signal or if no one answers the telephone you are calling, hang up and try the call a little later. No charge is made on uncompleted calls.

If you need assistance

If you are cut off, encounter difficulty in hearing or experince any other trouble, just dial "OPERATOR" and report it. The operator will be glad to help you. Charges are based upon rates in effect of at the time of connection at the calling point. This also includes beginning in one rate period and ending in another.
